Jeannette Staff, 86, of Ewen, passed away at her home on April 18, 2018. She was born on July 20, 1931 in Ewen, Michigan to the late Joseph and Alma (Jentz) Spargo.  She married John "Jack" Staff on June 2, 1951, who preceded her in death.

Surviving her are her 2 sons, Daniel (Sue) Staff and John (Carla) Staff; 2 daughters, Sandy Tulppo and Nancy (Mark) Voigt; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

Jeannette was preceded in death by her father Joseph Spargo; mother Alma (Jentz) Spargo; Brother Francis Spargo; husband Jack Staff; son Michael Staff.

Jeannette was a lifelong resident of Ewen and graduated from Ewen High School. She was a member of the Ewen American Legion Auxiliary and was a regular Bingo player on Friday nights. She enjoyed meeting friends at the Cloverland Senior Center for coffee and a game of cards.

Jeannette was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Every Sunday after church, she was blessed to be surrounded by her family at home for coffee and baked goods, followed by many hugs from her grandchildren.

The visitation will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Sacred Heart Church in Ewen. The funeral service will follow at 11 AM. Father Antony Kalapura will be officiating the service. A burial will be held in late Spring. A luncheon will follow the service in the Church basement.
