Jeremy Phillip Funke, 34, passed away from natural causes at home on July 8, 2020.

Jeremy was born in Ontonagon, MI on October 12, 1985, to Peter and Kim (Wilson) Funke. Shortly after graduating from the Ontonagon Area High School, his daughter, Rylee, was born. He stayed in the area, with his daughter, until the paper mill closed. In 2010, Jeremy and his father moved out to North Dakota to work on the pipeline.

After years of working on the road, all across the county, he recently settled near family, but it never felt like home. In May of this year, he decided to move back to Ontonagon, near Rylee, where he was most happy.Jeremy found love again with Angie Wiseman. Having his daughter, girlfriend, and girlfriend's children around put a permanent smile on his face.

He is survived by his daughter, Rylee, his parents, Peter and Kim, a sister, Robin, a nephew, Kyle, and a niece, Olivia; as well as grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
