Jerome "Jerry" Coey Sr. 72, of Ontonagon passed away on November 16, 2021 at home. Jerry was born in Tomahawk, WI to Ken and June Coey on March 18, 1949. He went to school in Ontonagon, graduating in 1967.

Jerry married Pamela Chamberlain-Johnston on August 17, 1995 in Ontonagon. He worked for the Ontonagon County Road Commission for 26 years when he retired. Jerry spent many hours fishing and hunting. He loved spending his time out on the lake and meeting his friends for coffee at Carquest. Jerry loved spending his time with his family and his puppies.

Jerry is survived by his wife Pam, sons Ken and Jerome, Randy (Lindsay), Sandy, brother Ron (Beth), 9 grandchildren and puppies Katie and Marley.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Kenneth and June.

There is no service at his request, there will be a Celebration of Life held at the Ontonagon VFW on December 17, 2021 from 4-7 p.m.

Arrangements are being made by Cane Funeral Home. Memorial may be given to OCAP.
