John J Jackson, 66, of Mass City, Passed away peacefully at home on August 18th 2016.

John was born in Covington Michigan to Einar Jackson & Elsie (Impie) Manninen on July 26th 1950. He went to school in Mass City, Michigan. He was married to Pamela Anttila ( Luokka) on December 3rd 1983, in Mass City Michigan, together John and Pam had two boys Roy & Scott. John worked in the woods as a logger, he loved the challenge of cutting down big trees. John also worked at home on his farm making hay and caring for milk cows. He was a kind, caring man, who would help anyone who needed help.

John is survived by his two son's Roy (Tonya) Jackson, Scott (Heather) Jackson, two grandchildren Molly Jackson & Scott Jackson Jr, sister Helen (Jim) Lepola, Uncle Clarence Fred Manninen, Brother in law Glenn Getzloff

He was preceded in death by his Mother Elsie Impi Manninen, Father Einar Jackson, Stepfather Art Karanen, Brother Arvo Jackson & Sister Ruth Getzloff.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday August 24th at Canes funeral home, visitation is from noon to 1pm, Memorial Service is at 1pm. There will be a luncheon at the Mass City School to follow.
