John Albert Westman passed away peacefully at his home in Ontonagon on Sept 6th with family by his side

He was born April 8th 1930 in Ishpeming to Albert & Ingborg Westman and raised in Pequaming MI until 1956 when he moved to Ontonagon where he was employed at the White Pine Mine for 42 yrs. ln 1957 he was united in marriage to Elizabeth (T oots) Gray.

He enjoyed Fishing, Hunting , Trapping, Scuba Diving and other hobbies He is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Toots), three children Kathy Walters,Sheri Westman, Shawn (Debbie) Westman four Grandchildren Emily, Mathew, Tyler and Shawn Jr. Sister Christine (Miles) Behrend and numerous Nephews,

Nieces and Cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Albert & Ingborg his in-laws Harold & Liz Henry and two grandchildren Kortnie and Eric.

Visitation will be held on Thursday Sept 10th at 10: 00 Service to follow at 11 :00
