Kathy Lynn (Nygard) Nappi, 61, of Ontonagon, MI passed away after a lengthy illness with cancer on December 17, 2024, in Ontonagon MI. She was born in Ontonagon, MI to Frank and Judy Nygard on May 25th, 1963. She was married to James Robinson on October 18th,1980 in Geneva New York and later remarried to Ronald Nappi in Geneva, New York, who passed away. She went to school in Ontonagon, Michigan.

She was the owner of an automotive detail business in Geneva, New York. She later moved back to Ontonagon, MI and worked at the Ontonagon Memorial Hospital. Kathy loved the wilderness, enjoyed hunting and fishing. She loved to do anything with her family, friends and most importantly her son, James Robinson. Kathy loved to take photographs, gardening and decorating her house. She loved whole heartily and lived her life to the fullest.

Kathy is survived by her son, James Robinson, her grandchildren Anessa, Brittany, Brian and Neveah and one great grandchild Grayson. Her mother Judy Nygard and brothers Robert (Diane) and Frank Nygard. Her niece Megan and nephew Richard along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. We will all miss her dearly.

She was proceeded in death by her father Frank Nygard, grandparents Fran and Joe Nygard and Dorothy Picotte.

"In our hearts, you will always stay, loved and remembered every day." Kathy brought so much joy, fun memories and good times to this family. Kathy loved all animals especially her pets.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Ontonagon at 11:00am.
