Keith Wayne Colgin 79 of Ontonagon passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at his home.

He was born March 19, 1927 to Thomas & Ruth (Makela) Colgin in Ontonagon, MI. He graduated in 1945 from Ontonagon High School. Keith then served in the Coast Guard from 1945 to 1946 and the U.S. Army from 1946 to 1948. On September 23, 1950 he married Carol Freimuth.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 56 years Carol, 4 children, Lynn (Bob) Skiba of Lapeer, Michael of Hazel Park, Cindy (Russ) Stokes of Burlington, WI & Chris (Dennis) Ernest of Escanaba, 4 grandchildren, Ryan Gonzales, Hollie and Tyler Ernest and Aidan Stokes, and 1 brother Thomas (Ann) Colgin of Ontonagon.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

At the deceased request there will be no services at this time. A graveside service is planned for the spring.
