Obituary

LeRoy James Killoran, loving husband, father and grandfather went to be with the Lord on March 7, 2007.

LeRoy was born May 9, 1934 to Earl & Edna Killoran in Escanaba, MI. He graduated from Ontonagon High School in 1952 and was in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954, where he served in Korea. On May 24, 1958 he married Sharon Lee Downing. They lived in Ontonagon until 1963 when they moved to Rockland where they raised their 4 children. He was employed by Copper Range Mining and retired on June 1, 1996.

LeRoy loved to fish and you could always find him by the Powerhouse or on the Victoria Dam whenever he had a spare moment. In his later years he enjoyed wood working. He was always up for a game of cribbage and enjoyed smear and euchre.

LeRoy is survived by his children Brian (Peggy) Killoran, Barbara (Peter) Rotundo, Beth (Roy) Allen and Amy (Brian) Pearson, grandchildren Jamie (Jon) Uotila, Brian Shaun and Aaron Killoran, Michelle, Lindsey and Brianne Schmaus, Lacey Mannikko, Aundrea and Justin Pearson and Mathew Rotundo,5 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters Margaret Molaski and Shirley Spotton.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Sharon, his parents, brothers Harold and Howard Killoran, sisters Winifred Roseholt, Patsy Russart, Joyce Ratliff and Jeanette Killoran, and a son-in-law Carlo Schmaus.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 10th at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Rockland at 2 p.m. with Pastor Cherrie Sporleder officiating. Cremation will follow and a spring burial service will be held at the Woodlawn cemetery in Rockland.
