Linda "Lou" Marks 60 passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 14, 2009.

She was born December 7, 1948 in Ontonagon. On November 21, 1964 Linda married Elmer Marks, Jr. Together they owned and operated Stubbs Museum Bar in Ontonagon.

Linda was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. She liked to play pool and go to camp. Linda was an excellent cook who enjoyed making food for friends and family. She loved everyone and everyone loved her.

Linda is survived by her husband Elmer Marks, Jr., children Billy (Celeste), Connie, and Jody (Carmen) Marks, 6 grandchildren Danielle, Justin, Alora, Johna, Christopher, Caden, father Charlie Sommer, siblings Gary (Lois) Sirvio of Mosinee, WI, Jim (Susie) Sirvio, Sheboygan, WI, Barbara Wright of Texas, Donna (Steve) Hemmila of Mass City, MI and Mike (Rita) Sirvio of Ontonagon, MI, mother-in-law Elizabeth DeFransico and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother Shirley Sommer and brother-in-law Ronnie Pestka.

A memorial service will take place at the Cane Funeral Home Monday, January 19th at 6 p.m. with Pastor Penny Olson officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.
