Linda Sue Trudgeon went to be with her Lord and Savior, September 19, 2026, at the age of 78, at home, surrounded by her husband and sister. Linda was born on February 23,1948 in Munising, MI to Wayne and Valerie E. Peters, the 5th of 12 children.

Linda was a devout woman of faith who loved serving in many kinds of ministries, including singing for the Lord; teaching children; mentoring younger women; and in hospitality, welcoming anyone into her home at any time! She so loved children and ran a daycare from her home for 20 years or more, including doing foster care as well.

Everywhere she lived, she had beautiful flower gardens, esp. the past 23 years at her home on M-64, across from Lake Superior, outside of Ontonagon. She loved nature, camping and hiking anywhere from the many falls & Lake of the Clouds to the mountains of Colorado. She also was a great cook, including her pasties, which she would send to her brother in Casper, WY.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne D. and Valerie E. Peters; siblings Kathleen Preiss (Merrill), Richard Peters, John Peters and Michael Peters.

She is survived by her loving husband Robert Trudgeon of 60 years; also, her siblings Valerie, Patricia, Wayne (Judy), Sally, Jim, Steve and David (Carma); also, many nieces, nephews, and in-laws. 

Following a private graveside service, she will be laid to rest in Carp Lake Cemetery in Green.

The family would like to thank the Regional Hospice Services for their loving care and compassion, Sunset Harbor Home Care for their service and for her sister Sally's love and concern through the many years of their beautiful sibling relationship, because of their mutual love of the Lord.
