On Thursday, June 27, 2019, Lori K. Sheffield, loving wife and mother passed away at the age of 67.

Lori was born April 18, 1952 in Grand Rapids, MI to Robert and Lorraine (Letournea) Woronko. She attended Michigan State University where she studied Veterinary Medicine and later joined the United States Postal Service where she proudly worked until her retirement in 2010.

Lori married the love of her life, Wayne Sheffield on April 3, 2009. Lori loved spending time with her husband and children, and watching the beautiful sunsets over Lake Superior from her home in Ontonagon, Michigan. Some of her favorite activities included crocheting/knitting, gardening, cooking, bird watching, and playing scrabble.

She is survived by her husband Wayne Sheffield and her five children Steven Gorham Jr., Amanda and Randy Churchill, Robert Gorham, James Sheffield, Alexandra and Jakob Niedorezo, her brothers Brien (Jan) Carpentier, Steve (Pauline) Woronko and her father Robert. Lori was preceeded in death by her mother, Lorraine.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 1st, 2019 at Cane Funeral Home located at 310 N. Steel St. Ontonagon, MI at 1 o'clock p.m. Pastor Brian Mason officiating.  Friends may call at the Funeral Home 1 hour prior to the start of the service.  Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Ontonagon,MI.
