Louis Arthur Wolfe, Jr. passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at his home in Bergland.

He was born April 11, 1949 in Ironwood to Louis "Shorty" & Charlotte Wolfe, Sr. Louis served four years in the United States Navy. Following active duty, he served in the Naval Reserves for many years. During his working years, Louis was employed at Copper Range, the Ontonagon ship yard and the Ontonagon County Road commission, from which he retired.

He was a member of the Bergland American Legion Post 562 and the Bergland Volunteer Fire Department. Louis enjoyed bowling, hunting, bike riding and riding his Harley.

He is survived by his wife Barb, sons James and Louis (Erin) III, his special granddaughter McKenna, mother Charlotte, brother Kenneth and sisters Deb, Joyce, Paula (Bill) Morrill, Kim (Jim) Mix and Nancy (JP) Ayotte and numerous nieces and nephews.

Louis was preceded in death by his father Louis "Shorty" Wolfe, Sr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Bergland. Friends may call at the church 1 hour prior the the Mass. Burial will be in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Bergland. Friends may view Louis obituary and leave condolences at canefuneralhome.com.
