Lowell Russell Padden, of Ontonagon, passed away June 25, 2010.

He was born September 19, 1934 in Langdon, North Dakota to Howard Padden and Olive Peterson.

Lowell moved to Ontonagon with his family in 1962. He worked at the Ontonagon Telephone company from 1962 until his retirement in 2006.

He was an avid Detroit Lions fan, enjoyed NASCAR and having a good time with his friends. Lowell was a beloved father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him.

Lowell is survived by his brothers, Gerald and Wayne Padden; former wife, Delores Padden; his daughter Debbie and her husband John and grandchildren John, Ryan and Taylor Banuchie and great-granddaughter Hailey Banuchie; Lowell's son, Michael and his wife Jennifer and their son, Jace Padden.

He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved grandson Finley Michael Padden.

A celebration of life party will be held at the Dry Dock Bar in Ontonagon on Tuesday, June 29 starting at 4 p.m.
