Lynn Marie Johnson, 45 passed away at her home in Lake Mine on August 20, 2010 after a long illness.

Lynn was born on July 9, 1965 in L'Anse, MI to the late Susan Katherine (Goard) Johnson and Herbert Johnson.

She attended elementary school in Mass City and graduated from Ontonagon High School in 1983. After graduation, Lynn went to Chicago and worked at numerous jobs. There she had her daughter, Lacey. Together, they returned to Michigan, where she met her fiancAC. Gary Almli. They had made their home in Lake Mine.

Lynn loved gardening, camping, cooking, farming and spending time with her family and friends. For many years she did catering with her mother and her mother's friend Marion Patana. Lynn also worked at Plutchaks in Mass City. She was a great mother, sister, friend and a wonderful cook. Lynn was also a great listener. If you had a problem or needed to talk, she would always help you through it.

Lynn is survived by her daughter Lacey Nicole Johnson, her fiancAC. Gary, father Herbert, sisters Nancy Johnson and Denise (Ivan Aratlakov) Johnson, brother Randy, one nephew Ethan and several aunt, uncles and cousins.

Preceding her in death were her mother Susan, and paternal and maternal grandparents.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 4th at 2 p.m. at the Cane Funeral Home in Ontonagon. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the start of the service. Burial will take place at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Greenland. A luncheon will follow at the VFW Hall in East Branch.
