Margaret Nygard, 89, of Ontonagon passed away Saturday September 16, 2006 at Riverview Manor, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.

She was born September 5, 1917 in Pequaming, MI, daughter of the late Michael & Louise Bowers.

On September 4, 1939 Margaret was united in marriage to Adolph "Puffy" Nygard. She was a member of the Siloa Lutheran Church in Ontonagon. Margaret belonged to the many women's groups of the church.

She is survived by her husband Adolph "Puffy" Nygard formerly of Ontonagon, daughters Beverly (Ronald) Lotspaih of Jackson, WI and Carole (George) Monville of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, grandchildren Cynthia (Mike Geraty) Mueller, Linda (Mark) Gildner, Steven (Annette) Lotspaih, Kevin Lotspaih, Jeffery (Tamara) Monville and Ann (Brian) Rogers, great-grandchildren Justin, Amanda, Tyler, M.J., Trisha, Andrew, Matt, Craig, Jeremy, Kaylin, Alyssa, Brandon, Mason and Carson, sister Carmen Pole of Trout Creek and several nieces and nephews.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 7 sisters and a grandson Michael.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday September 20, 2006 at the Siloa Lutheran Church in Ontonagon. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Penny Olson officiating.
