Margaret (Hedrick) Drier, born November 21, 1916 in Rockland, MI to Anton Hedrick and Cora Roberts, passed peacefully of January 13, 2018.

She was a graduate of Roger Clark High School in Rockland and Loyola University Columbus Hospital in Chicago, IL with a B.S. in Nursing.

In 1943 she married Elmer Drier of Wakefield, MI.  They had three children; Roger (Linda) of Iron River, David of Ontonagon and Patricia (Bob Trepanier) Drier MD of Santa Rosa, CA; Four grandchildren, Kevin (Olivia), Nathan (Carrie), Luke (Miranda) and Erin; and seven great-grandchildren; Kaitlyn, Ellie, Natalie, Ryker, Mannix, Adeline and Rhyatt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Mary Hedrick, Kathryn Heisel and brother Francis, KIA in WWII.

She worked almost 50 years as a Registered Nurse at the three Ontonagon hospitals, Wakefield Hospital and Providence Hospital, Columbia, South Carolina and in the offices of Drs. Lahti, Archibald and Gervae.

At her request there will be no visitation.  A funeral Mass will take place Friday, May 25, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rockland, MI. at 11:00 am.  Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery.
