Obituary

Margaret (Mugs) Molaski passed away quietly on December 10, 2010 at the Aspirus Long Term Care Facility.

She was born Margaret C. Killoran on June 25, 1925 in Fairport, Michigan to parents Earl and Edna Killoran. Margaret grew up in Fairport where her father was a commercial fisherman. Later, the commercial fishing operation was moved to Ontonagon and so was the family.

Margaret met and later married Patrick Molaski on March 12, 1949, and they made their home in Ontonagon. They had two children, Patrick (Jim) Molaski and Mary Molaski (Badgero).

She began working at the Maple Manor Nursing Home the day it opened and remained employed there until her retirement in 1989.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick; a grandson, Michael J. Badgero; brothers: Howard, Harold, and Leroy; and sisters: Jeanette, Winnie, Joyce, and Patricia.

Margaret is survived by her son, Patrick (Jim) Molaski; daughter, Mary Badgero; son-in-law, Michael Badgero; two grandchildren: SSGT. Thomas (Rosanne) Badgero of Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota, and Christine (Jeremy) Heyden of Green Bay; four great-grandchildren: Hunter, Samantha, and Anthony Badgero and Sara Heyden. She is also survived by one sister, Shirley Spotton of Ontonagon, and many nieces and nephews.

At Margaret's request there will be no services at this time. Graveside services will take place in the spring at the Riverside Cemetery.
