Marjorie Razmus 90 passed away Friday, June 13, 2008 at Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital's Long Term Care Unit.

She was born March 25, 1918 in Rockland to the late Henry and Anna (Messener) Gagnon. She was united in marriage to Leo Razmus.

Marge and Leo managed the White Pine Inn until Leo's death in 1968. She continued on and owned and operated the Konteka Inn until the closing in 1997.

Marge had many interests, including reading, hiking, the beach, traveling, cooking/baking, her puppies, gardening and her family.

Marge is survived by children Patricia Downing, of Rockland, Lynne (Ken "Cloud") Slipper of White Pine, Leo John (Sheila) Razmus of Ontonagon and Michael (Bonnie) Razmus of White Pine, grandchildren Jerry (Debbie) Downing Jr. Shane (Teri) Downing, Lori (Al) Chamberlain, Lynette (Fred) Aiken, Stacy Rudd, Matt (Jennifer) Derke, Ben Derke, Amanda, Stevie, and David Slipper, Leo (Crystal), Josh, and Katie Razmus, Amber (James) Osterman, Lexie (Jared Braget) Razmus, Michael (Kristi Minkin) Razmus, great grand children, Jessie Chamerlain, Sarah (Ryan) Rudniki, Stephanie (Jeremy) Chamerlain, Angela Chamerlain, Elli, Viviane, Ava Rose, Olivia, Keston and Tannis Downing, Natalie, Freddie, Adam, and Jared Aiken, Ryan and Riley Derke, AJ, Austin and Wyatt Razmus, Kelsey Osterman, Naomie Braget, Amber Marlark, Tim (Alyshia) Anderson, great, great, grandchildren Nathan Anderson & Evan Chamberlain.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leo Razmus, siblings Lynn Henry Gagnon, Edward Gagnon, Katherine Stimpson, Mildred Wilson, her mother and father Anna and Henry Gagnon, a daughter Maryam Derke.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, June 17th at 1 p.m. at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Rockland. Friends may call at the church 2 hours prior to the start of the service. Burial will take place in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Rockland. The Cane Funeral Home is assisting the family.
