Mary Margaret Roberts, known affectionately as Mary Tebbe of Alanson, Michigan, was called home by the Lord on May 3, 2024, leaving a profound void in the hearts of her loved ones and all who knew her.

Born into a devout Christian family in Ontonagon, Michigan, Mary was raised on a farm alongside her seven siblings, shaping her character and resilience.

Mary dedicated herself as an Administrative Assistant at Michigan Tech and Mackinaw College. In 1973, she met William Tebbe, marking the beginning of a cherished love story.

She found joy in woodworking crafts, gardening, historical research, religion, and politics, and sharing her passions with others, often engaging in conversation with others about the Lord.

Her legacy lives on through her children (Charles, Chrissy, Carrie, and Tim) along with her 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Mary's nurturing spirit and love continue to inspire.

A private graveside service on May 18th will honor Mary's life. While no public gathering is planned, the family appreciates gestures of sympathy.

Cane Funeral Home of Ontonagon is assisting the family with arrangements.
