Mary Williams, 79, of Ontonagon, passed away on Thursday November 25, 2010 at the Aspirus Ontonagon Long Term Care Facility.

Mary was born on September 10, 1931 in Calumet, to parents Mose and Edla (Salo) Huard. She married George Williams on March 3, 1949 in the Copper Country.

Mary enjoyed Bingo, Crocheting, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband George November 18, 1989; a daughter Joanne Guzek; her parents; her sister; Rose Goulette, and three brothers; Fred, Henry and Ronnie Huard.

Mary is survived by five children; George Williams Jr., Bruce (Debbie)Williams, Steve (Cindy) Williams, Susan (Tony) Cichowski, and Bonnie (Virgil) Weisinger; a brother; Peter (Sharon) Huard, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, with another one due to be born in January, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Services for Mary will be held at the Cane Funeral Home on Thursday December 2, 2010 at 11am. With Rev. Jeannie Manning officiating. Friends and family may call from 10am until the time of service. Spring inurnment will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery, in Rockland.
