Matthew James McGuire, age 30, passed away unexpectedly at his mother's home in Ontonagon, Saturday, August 29, 2020. Matthew was born in Houghton, MI on March 28, 1990 to Dan and Rhonda (Majurin) McGuire, both of Ontonagon.

Matthew worked as a heavy equipment operator in oil fields in North Dakota. He enjoyed camping & fishing with his brother Jacob. Matthew loved spending time with his girlfriend Lauren and going to the local beach. He easily made friends everywhere he went and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by both parents Rhonda McGuire and Daniel (Lisa) McGuire, his brother Jacob McGuire and his girlfriend Lauren Jackson.

A celebration of life will be held at his mother's home on Sunday, September 6th at 1:00pm at 32959 US Hwy 45, Ontonagon,MI.
