Michael J. Welsh, 65, of Bruce Crossing passed away April 4, 2013 at his home.

Mike was born on Sept 30, 1947 in Yale, MI to the late Frank and Elaine (Swan) Welsh.

Mike was employed by General Motors in the Sanitization department. Mike married the former Amy Davis and they moved from Lower Michigan in 2000. They made their home in their beloved Upper Peninsula.

He was a veteran of Viet Nam, serving with the U.S. Navy.

Mike is survived by his wife: Amy; brothers Bill (Marion) of Troy, MI and John (Gail) of Peck, MI.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Dick and sister, Arcelie.
