Muriel E. Miller, 81 of Ontonagon, passed away June 3, 2008 at Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital

She was born in Ogema, WI. She came to the area with her parents as a young child and attended Ontonagon Area Schools.

Muriel married Edward F. Miller on July, 11, 1947 in Milwaukee, WI. They resided there until they made their home in Ontonagon.

She was employed at the candlelight Inn, for over 20 years.

Muriel enjoyed many hobbies including: the beach, dancing, bowling, reading and baking. She also enjoyed her animals and time with her family and friends.

Muriel was preceded in death by her parents; Harry and Marie Carlson, her husband Edward, daughter Shelley, sister Marjorie Sparpanic, and a half brother Irving Peterson.

She is survived by her daughter Dawn Miller, grandson Joshua, sister Ellen Steed, and several nieces and nephews.
