Nancy Carol Niemi, 67, of Ontonagon passed away June 18, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born December 11, 1947 in Hancock, MI to Harold and Estrid Reichardt.

She is survived by Stan, her husband of 50 years; daughter Wendy (Brian); sons Jesse (Crystal) and Jason (Laurie); son-in-law Gregg Pelto; grandchildren Jonathon (Bethany), Jeremy, Sarah (Mike), Amber (Nick), Wade, Adam, Audrey and Preston; great-granddaughters Ariana, Stormy and Rogue; brothers Paul and Harold Jr.; sisters Carolyn and Susan and their spouses; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She leaves a wonderful legacy of faith, family and love.

Nancy enjoyed caring for her family by whom she will be dearly missed. She also enjoyed walking along Lake Superior collecting agates, researching family history, reading, painting, gardening and she had a great love of learning.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Natalie Ann; grandson Joshua; parents Harold and Estrid and brother Peter. We love you Hon, Mom, Grandma. XO

A Memorial Service for Nancy will be held Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 11 am at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ontonagon. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
