Patricia Ruth Mariacher 77 of Rockland passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at home with her loving husband Robert J. Mariacher and family by her side.

She was born in Boyne City, MI on December 12, 1930 to Alfred Roach and Evelyn Roberts. She was a registered nurse at Bayside Village in L'Anse, MI for 14 years. She was married to Robert J. Mariacher on November 12, 1955 and they resided in Woodstock, IL until 1986 when they moved to Rockland, MI.

Patricia is survived by her husband Robert, son David Mariacher of Oregon, daughters Rachel Shamion of Michigan, Michelle Mariacher of Montana, Gina Peck of Georgia and Lola Jean Mariacher of Michigan, grandchildren Devin Shamion, Gavin Peck, Brian Haskall, Tracia, Mercedes, Delorian, Martha Rose, Isaac and Azaria Mariacher, brother Fred (Val) Roach of Indiana, Aunt Evelyn Ellis of Indiana, sister in law Eva Crence of Indiana, brother in law Tom Coffman of Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Richard Alfred Mariacher, brother Robert Roach and sister Rosalie Coffman.

Funeral services will take place Saturday, July 19th at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Rockland Pastor Cherrie Sporleder officiating. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the start of the service. Burial will take place in Cemetery Park in Iron Mountain. The Cane Funeral Home is assisting the family.
