Paulette Ann Gervae, of Ontonagon, passed away on Tuesday, May 6th at Aspirus Ontonagon Long Term Care after a lengthy illness.

Paulette was born in Ishpeming to Paul Jr. and Angeline Collick on February 18th, 1945. She graduated from Negaunee High School Class of 1963. She married Steven Gervae on August 20th, 1966 in Negaunee. She graduated from St. Luke's School of Nursing in Marquette as a Registered Nurse that same year. After her 3 children were old enough for school she went to work as a Registered Nurse and Office Manager in her husband Steven's family practice clinic in Ontonagon. She later concluded her nursing career as an RN at the Ontonagon Hospital Long Term Care Facility. She touched countless lives with her helpful and giving nature and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Paulette is survived by her husband of nearly 48 years, Dr. Steven Gervae; 3 children: Nik, Gina, and Daniel (Kori); 5 grandchildren: Jesse, Justin, Jalen, Alexis & Taylor; brothers Dennis, Scott (Mary), and Daniel (Dauna) Collick; sisters Betty Nelson (Gregg) and Lynn Miles; mother-in-law Mary Gervae; sister-in-law Sue Guizetti (Sonny); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, & cousins

Paulette was preceded in death by her parents Paul Jr. and Angeline Collick and 2 brothers: Gregory and Michael Collick.

Per her request, no public services will be held. A private family celebration of her life will be arranged and held at a date to be announced.
