Obituary

Pauline M. Mansell, 82, of Ontonagon passed away December 27, 2012 at Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital.

She was born July 9, 1930 to Napoleon and Cecile (Poisson) Parent in Hubbell, MI. Following her graduation from Lake Linden High School, Pauline served in the United States Army as part of the Women's Army Corps.

Pauline worked in Ontonagon at Wagar's Restaurant as a waitress, and at Maple Manor Nursing Home as an aide for a number of years. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She also crocheted hundreds of afghans that were given away to the community through St. Vincent de Paul Society. Pauline enjoyed fishing, and camping, and was an avid fan of the Packers, Tigers and Red Wings.

Pauline is survived by her children Kenny, George, Karen, David (Barbara), Mike (Debbie), Steve, Susan (Robert) Baunach, and Jimmy. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren; sisters, Doris Bartono, Joan Francis, Barbara Johnson, and Kathleen Soderberg and brother, Dale Parent.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis and son, Thomas.
