Obituary

RALPH DENNIS MANNING

Ralph Dennis Manning was born on July 26, 1938 in Detroit to Edwin and Wilma Manning. He died on February 13, 2019 at his home.

After graduating from Mass High School he spent 3 years in the Army, stationed in Germany. Upon discharge he moved to Milwaukee, WI and worked at Oster Corporation. In 2001 he moved back to his family farm in Mass City.

Ralph was an amateur photographer who specialized in photos of birds and flowers. He was also an avid table tennis player, active in Finnish American activities and attended story telling events around the country. He belonged to the Redeemer Free Lutheran Church in Ontonagon.

Ralph is survived by his wife Suzanne, sister Marian, brother Chuck and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Burial services will be held the Atlantic Mine Cemetery on June 27 at 6:00pm with Dave Blake officiating. Military rites will be conducted by Copper Country Veterans Association.
