Raymond F. Potvin, Jr., 76 of Bergland, passed away Monday, October 27, 2014 at 4:58 a.m. at the Norlite Nursing Center in Marquette.

He was born in Ashland, WI to Raymond Sr. and Etta (Christen) Potvin. Raymond enjoyed fishing, collecting pocketknives, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his son Gerald (Barbara) Potvin, of Palmer, MI; grandsons Jason (Jessica) and Gerald (Crystal) Potvin of Palmer; great-grandchildren Michael, Kayla, Aliyah, Dylan, Derek and David, all of Palmer; brother-in-law Dennis Liquia of Palmer; special friend Tom Paulman of Bergland; and several nieces and nephews.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Betty Liquia.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 12-2 p.m. Eastern at the Cane Funeral Home in Bruce Crossing. Burial will follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Bergland.
