Richard "Rick" Allen Rahkola 47 of Ontonagon died Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at Marquette General Hospital.

He was born in January 9, 1960 in Ontonagon to William and Florence (Kujala) Rahkola.

Rick enjoyed all types of outdoor activities. He especially enjoyed long walks in the woods. Many people will remember Rick as the Maintenance Engineer at the Ontonagon Memorial Hospital where he worked for over 27 years.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, father William, a brother and a sister.

Rick is survived by his wife Wendy, son Geoffrey and his fiancAC. Danielle Kettunen, granddaughter Mikayla Rose Rahkola, mother Florence, sisters Delores and Kathy, brother Bob and numerous nephews and nieces.

In lue of flowers, the family request donations be made to the family in Rick's name.
