Robert Lee Hash, Jr., 55 of Trout Creek, MI passed away October 9, 2013 in Baraga, MI.

He was born February 16, 1958 in Bessemer, MI to Robert Sr. and Sylvia (Anderson) Hash. Robert served in the US Army from 1976-1982 as a Sergeant. He also worked 30 years as an underground miner and recently retired.

Robert is survived by his children: Michael Hash of Henderson, KY; Ryan (Emily) Hash and Kylie Hash, both of Uniontown, KY; grandchildren: Trevor, Caleb, Camryn, Aidan and Tucker; mother Sylvia Jezuit of Ontonagon; siblings Pixie (Mike) Daggett and Kerry (Joseph) Cronkright, both out Trout Creek, MI; Lawrence (Lorelei) Hash of Ewen, MI; Jerry Haataja of Minneapolis, MN; Thomas (Kristin) Haataja of Pelkie, MI; Chuck (Debbie) Haataja of Two Rivers, WI and Nancy (Armas) Ojaniemi of Bruce Crossing, MI.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert Sr., sister Elaine Hash, and brother Jack Haataja.

A Memorial Service for Robert will be held Sunday, October 13, 2013 at 4 p.m. Eastern at VFW Post 9345 Bruce Crossing, Michigan Visitation will begin and 3 p.m. and continue until the time of service.
