Ruth Lee Paray and Robert George Lamoureaux, who were married for 75 years, will be laid to rest on October 5, 2023. Ruth was from St. Louis, Missouri, while Robert hailed from Ontonagon, Michigan. Robert joined the Air Force in 1945 and had a great many interesting jobs while in the Air Force in its infancy. While serving in the Air Force, Robert met Ruth in St. Louis in 1948. They fell in love and Ruth followed him around the world as an Air Force spouse.

The couple had six children: (David deceased Sept 13, 2023) (Kathy) Lamoureaux, Karen (Andre) Provost; Linda Jacob, Diana (Ken) Pryor, Craig Lamoureaux, and Paul Lamoureaux; along with nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The memorial service for Robert and Ruth will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Cane Funeral Home in Ontonagon, MI.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am, with Pastor Pete LeMoine officiating the service at 11:00am. Following the service, military honors will take place at the Evergreen Cemetery in Ontonagon.

There will be a celebration of life at the Eagles Club following the burial.
