He was born February 16, 1930 in Lake Linden to parents Edward and Theresa Leveque. He graduated from Lake Linden High School in 1949, and went on to serve in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1951-1953. In his younger years, Bob enjoyed snowmobiling. He also loved camping, was an avid outdoorsman, and spent time "tinkering" in his garage. Bob was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Theresa; and a brother, Bud.

He is survived by his wife, Diana; two daughters, Deb (Joe) Davis and Kim (Ed) Serrahn; grandchildren, Chad Davis, Malina (Chris) Bedtke, and Alex Serrahn; great-grandson, Cameron Bedtke; and sisters, Marion (Ed) Rozman of Calumet and Margaret McDonald of the Houghton County Medical Care Facility. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
