Robert O. Myhren 69 of Ontonagon passed away November 3, 2007 at the Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital.

He was born December 9, 1937 to Carl and Mary (Gebeau) Myhren.

In 1961 Robert married Judith Pennala. Together, they made their home in Green.

Robert was previously employed by the Ontonagon Country Road Commission and retired from the White Pine Copper Mine.

One of Robert's main interests was collecting and refurbishing John Deere tractors with his son Robert. He loved to go "deere" hunting looking for more tractors to add to his collection. He also enjoyed going to tractor shows and the county fairs. Robert and his son loved going to the Steam Threshers Reunion in Rollag, MN.

Robert always had a smile on his face and a cup of coffee in his hand. You could always hear him whistling or humming.

Robert is survived by his Mother Mary Myhren, his Wife Judith one son Robert (Lisa), 4 sisters: Louise Cavender, Joan Burke, Carol (Jim) Bauer, and Sharon (Tom) Heikkila, one Brother: Bernard and numerous Nephews and Nieces.

Robert was preceded in death by his father Carl and 3 brothers Leslie, Jerry, and Kenny.

Visitation will be held Wednesday November 7th at 10:00 at the Cane Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 with on Pastor Penny Officiating. Interment will be in the Riverside Cemetery. Frineds may view Robert's obituary and leave condolences at canefuneralhome.com.
