Robert E. Stratton 89 passed away May 25, 2008 at the Maple Manor Nursing Center in Ontonagon.

He was born in Greenland, MI at the Adventure Location on September 10, 1918 to Nelson John Stratton and Bertha Nancarrow.

Robert was married to Lennagene Rossman. He entered military service in March 1941 and served in Northern France and Central Europe in WWII.

Robert is survived by one sister Lou (Dale) Holbrook of Marion, WI and numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife Lennagene, 4 sisters and 2 brothers.

Burial will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Greenland, MI.
