Robert J. (Bob) Yakovich passed away at his home in the Milwaukee area on October 10, 2008 at the age of 65.

He was born on November 8, 1942 in Ontonagon to Paul & Ardith (Dragoo) Yakovich. He lived in Rockland and attended the Rockland schools. He served in the U.S. Army after leaving school and later returned to work at the local paper mill for several years. He then moved to Milwaukee where he worked for a printing company. He continued to live in the Milwaukee area until his death.

Surviving are his children Tami (Randy) Charbarneau of Stambaugh, MI, Tracey Yakovich of De Pere, WI, Scott Yakovich of Milwaukee, WI and Jennifer (Scott) Hausman of Sussex, WI, four grandchildren Jaime, Bradley, Jordan and Tori and 1 great-grandchild, Jaren. He is also survived by 3 brothers William (Carol) Yakovich of Ontonagon, Paul Yakovich of Ontonagon and Patrick (Roxane) Yakovich of Rockland as well as nieces and nephews Julie, Brandon, Nicholas, Bridgette and Michael.

He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Ardith Yakovich and brother Bernard.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at the Cane Funeral Home with Father Antony Lukose presiding. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the start of the service.
