Rodney K Franti 68 of Ewen passed away April 7th in L'Anse He was born on the family farm in Ewen on March 21, 1940 to Arne and Florence (Fors) Franti.

Rodney was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Ewen. He attended Ewen High School and was employed on the family farm until he retired. He spent several year in Ontonagon, and Covington.

Rodney loved fishing, doing crossword puzzels and visiting his nephews and nieces, and cousins.

Rodney is survived by 2 sisters: Mrs. (Ronald) Annette Haapala of Kenosh and Bruce Crossing and, Mrs.(Mark) Jeanette Novak of Kenosha 2 brothers:Gordon (Brenda) of Kenosha and Marvin (Jean) and several nephews, nieces and cousins.

Rodney's funeral will be held Friday April 11th at from the First Lutheran Church in Ewen at Noon. Visitation will be 1 hour before services, Pastor Gerald Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Ewen.
