Ronald "Moiky" Moilanen passed away at 77 in his home in Mass City Michigan on November 24th after a long illness. He was born in Mass City Michigan on August 4, 1940 to Wiljo (Bill) and Huldah Moilanen.

He is survived by his loving  wife of 48 years Sally, Son William (Renee) Moilanen of Iron Mnt, daughter Leona/Nona Moilanen of Mass City, stepsons, Paul  (Shawn) Lindstrom of Hastings MN, Steven  (Teresa) Lindstrom of Ishpeming MI and Brian Lindstrom (Melissa LeGault) of Ontonagon. Sister in laws, Sandra Uotila of Mass City MI, Pat Luttinen of Wyalusing PA and Jo Ann Luttinen of Las Vegas NV, brother in law Jack Luttinen of Las Vegas NV and brother Bruce Moilanen of Coldwater MI. 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and numerous niece's and nephews.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Wayne and brother in laws Michael Uotila of Mass City MI and Paul Luttinen of Wyalusing PA.

Ron drove truck most of his life and loved traveling all over the country. He always loved playing baseball, dartball, shooting pool and stock car racing, he was a diehard sports fan always rooting for the Green Bay Packers, Detroit Redwings and Detroit Tigers.

Ronnie was a loving husband and a wonderful father, papa, uncle and friend and will be deeply missed.

At the request of Ron's family there will be no services at this time.   Graveside services for Ron will take place at  Rousseau Cemetery in the spring.

The Cane Funeral Home of Ontonagon is assisting the family with arrangements.
