Ron Weza, age 64 passed away on November 1, 2021. Ron was born to Francis and Nancy (Matson) Weza on November 25, 1956, on a snowy Thanksgiving day. Ron was a life long resident of Ontonagon. He graduated in 1975 from the Ontonagon Area High School.

Ron had a great love for his family. Mother Nancy Weza; brothers Bob (Robin) Weza and Mike (Jessie) Weza; sisters Denise (Ed) Zanto and Julie (Jamie) Monville. He was very proud of his nieces Lisa Weza and Stephanie Weza and his nephew Ryan Curty. He also enjoyed spending time with his Uncle Frank Uotila and Aunt Helen Weza. He had a special place in his heart for his sweet dog Sassy.

Ron was welcomed in heaven by his Dad Francis Weza, his Aunt Cathy Uotila and his grandparents, in addition to all of his beloved pets.

Ron  had a love for photography and took great pride in sharing the amazing images he captured. On most evenings you could find Ron on the shores of Lake Superior waiting for the perfect sunset.

Ron was a giving soul and enjoyed helping many people in the community with just about anything they needed. He was a good friend and neighbor.

Ron will be greatly missed by all who called him friend and mostly by those who called him family.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
