Rose Marie Pestka (nee-Stefanich) , age 90 Passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Froedtert Hospital and Medical College in Milwaukee WI.

She was born March 21, 1920 in Rockland, Michigan, daughter of the late Philip and Margaret (Ruzich) Stefanich. The family later moved to the Norwich Road and a life on the farm. Rose married Peter J. Pestka in 1938. They made their home in Milwaukee, WI.

Survivng are her daughters Joanne Hawkins of Nenana, Alaska and Susan Ketchum of Germantown, WI, son John Pestka of Shawano, WI, daughter-in-law Maureen Pestka of Racine, WI, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, six brothers, son Robert L. Pestka formerly of Racine, WI, son-in-law John Ketchum formerly of Germantown, WI, and granddaughter Sherri Hawkins formerly of Alaska.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, May 7th at 11 a.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Father Michael Jacobus officiating. Friends may call at the Church from 10 a.m. until the start of the service. Burial will be in the Holy Family Cemetery.
