Roy C. Lindstrom, 91 passed away on February 19, 2025 at Bayside Village of L'Anse, Michigan where he resided for the past 18 months.. He was born on October 17, 1933, in Chassell, Michigan, son of the late John and Viola (Walstrom) Lindstrom. Roy attended Chassell schools, graduating with the class of 1952 at Chassell High School.

On October 9, 1954, Roy was married to the former Helen Laukka in Laurium. He was employed in Hancock driving Redi-Mix trucks, then at the White Pine Copper Mine as a miner and mechanic. He retired after 30+ years from White Pine. Roy enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Eagles Club and the Sno-Go-Inn Club.

Roy is survived by his children Susie (David) Guilbault, Shelly (Tom) Quick, Carol (Elmer) Marks, Connie (Pete) Thompson and Raymond (Sheryl) Lindstrom. His sister-in-law Virginia Lindstrom and his step sister-in-law Mary Erva; Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Helen on November 3, 2016, his daughter Sherry Store, sister Florence Hill & spouse Alvin Hill, sister Dorothy Boatman & spouse Leonard Boatman and sister Marilyn Lindstrom, brother Harold Lindstrom, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Ken and Nancy Laukka.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 2:00pm at Riverside Cemetery in Ontonagon, Michigan.
