Ruth E Daniels age 82 formally of Ontonagon passed away peacefully at Our Lady of Mercy Nursing home in Hubbell, MI on wed October 7 ,2009.

She was born and raised in Ontonagon on the old Cranberry Rd. in Green. She was the daughter of Allan and Mayme (Store) Daniels, and had 11 brothers and sisters.

She enjoyed visiting with family and friends and attended most family holiday gatherings. She had lived in several Adult Foster Care Homes over the years and enjoyed the friendships she made there and the activities provided.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents Allan and Mayme Daniels, 6 brothers Layton, Richard, James, Leon, Francis, and Edward and one sister Evelyn Everett.

She is survived by 4 sisters Anna Irene Lobeck, Dorothy (Irvin)Thebo, Joyce (Leland) Eberhard, Katherine (Wayne) Eberhard, several sister-in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Siloa Lutheran Church in Ontonagon Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 1 p.m. Friends may call at the church from Noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Ontonagon. Condolences may be left at canefuneralhome.com.
