Ruth A. Killoran 83 of Ontonagon passed away Monday, January 28, 2008 at Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital's Long Term Care Unit.

She was born March 26, 1924 in Ontonagon to Franklin I. & Mary (Papineau) Knickerbocker. Ruth was one of 19 children.

In 1947 Ruth married Harold W. "Bun" Killoran. She loved to sing & was an active member of the Assembly of God Church and Ladies Auxiliary Post 5600. Ruth enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband "Bun", an infant son and her siblings.

Ruth is survived by her children Jeanette (Donald) Picotte, Robert (Diana) Killoran, Joedy Killoran, Anita "Sue"(Wayne White) Killoran, Doris (Michael) Townsend and Mary (James) Kitzman, 16 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, half brother Grant Papineau and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 2nd at 11 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Ontonagon with Pastor Paul Sewell officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the start of the service. Spring inurnment will take place in the Riverside Cemetery. The Cane Funeral Home is assisting the family.
