RUTH SAIMA MARIE KETTUNEN 83 of No. Paynesville passed away Sunday in Hancock.

She was born June 7th, 1924 in Bruce Crossingto the late John and Saima (Mattson) Mikkola.

Ruth was a member of the First Apostolic Lutheran church in Paynesville, she enjoyed knitting, puzzels, cooking, backing, and singing.

Ruth is survived by 2 sons: John (Francis) of Land-O-Lake and Carl (Rita) of Trout Creek, 3 daughters: Judith of Calumet, Marion (Leo) Helppi of Bruce Crossing, and Elsie of Lansing, MI. 14 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren.

Ruth was preceeded in death by her husband Thomas (1959) 2 sisters; Julia Pietila Leah Koski, 1 brother: Larry, and infant siblings, 2 granddaughters.

Visitation for Ruth will be held Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M. from the first Apostolic Lutherand Church in Paynesville with Richard Eskola of Calument Officiating, interment will be in the Agate Cemetery Trout Creek.
