Sally Bailey, 67 of Ontonagon passed away October 24, 2015 at Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital.

She was born September 2, 1948 in Ontonagon to Myron and Lillian (Paulson) Welch. She was a 1966 graduate of Ontonagon High School and graduated from Northern Michigan University in 1998 with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Following graduation, Sally worked at the Ontonagon Hospital and also as a travel nurse. Her last travel assignment was in Hawaii.

Sally loved her flower garden, and took great pride in her beautiful flowers. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and attending their school events. She adored her dog, Sydney.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents Myron and Lillian; siblings Bobby Welch, Shirley Sommer, Flossie Strong, Audrey Bishop and Jimmy Welch; and former husband Thomas G. Bailey.

She is survived by her children Thomas (Jeana) Bailey and Vonda (Shawn) Lukkari; grandchildren Tyler, Alexis, Samantha, Noah and Nicole; sister Sharon Mosey; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Graveside Service for Sally will be held Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Riverside Cemetery in Ontonagon. A Celebration of Life will follow at Sally's home.
