Sharon Jacquelyn (Heikkila) Hoffman, 64, of Royal Oak, Michigan died on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at William Beaumont Hospital.

She was born on May 11, 1946 in Detroit to Jack and Sylvia (Heiti)Heikkila, they then returned to Green where she was raised and became a 1964 graduate of White Pine High School.

A natural caregiver, she spent her life taking care of others as a CAN in addition to her family, both immediate and extended. Besides living in Green/Ontonagon and Royal Oak, she also previously resided in Westland,Michigan and St. Petersburg, Florida.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jack Fredric.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Don Monette Jr.) and granddaughters, Lianna, Lynzi, Lily and Luciana, several cousins and long-time boyfriend, Gary Allen.

A memorial service will be held June 16, 2011 at 2 p.m., with visitation one hour before. Inurnment will take place after the service in the Riverside Cemetery.
