Our loving mother who was beloved by all who met her, Shirley Ann Skoviak died peacefully on April 18, 2026 at age 90 in Primrose Senior Living Community, Mishawaka Indiana.

Shirley was born May 22, 1935 to Roscoe and Nancy Colclasure in Ontonagon, MI. She is survived by one brother (Jack) and was predeceased by two brothers (Merle and Robert) and two sisters (Clara and Mary Jane). In November of 1953, she married Edward M Skoviak Jr. and was happily married for over 60 years until Ed preceded her in passing.

Shirley is survived by her 3 children, Edward R. Skoviak III, James A. Skoviak and Patty V. Kilpela. Shirley had 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Shirley and Ed lived in Ontonagon most of their life together, until having to move to Indiana to be closer to their family for assistance.

Shirley will be laid to rest at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery, next to her husband in Ontonagon MI on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 2pm with Father Brian Gerber officiating a graveside service.
