Theodore J. Serrahn 89 of Ontonagon passed away Thursday, February 05, 2009 at Maple Manor Nursing Center in Ontonagon.

He was born February 3, 1920 in Perronville, MI to the late John & Emma (Dettmann) Serrahn. During World War II Ted served in the United States Army. He was married to the former Shirley Smith. During his working career, Ted was employed at the White Pine Copper Mine.

He is survived by his sons Ed (Kim) of Milan, MI and William Serrahn of Packwood, WA, daughter Dorothy (Geoff) Brandt of Freeport, TX, 4 grandsons and 3 sisters.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 10th at 2:30 p.m. at the Cane Funeral Home in Ontonagon. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the start of the service. Burial will take place in the spring at the Riverside Cemetery in Ontonagon.
