IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Todd Ross
Store
July 8, 1959 – June 13, 2012
With the death of Todd Ross Store, age 52, in Ontonagon, Michigan on June 13, 2012, our family has lost a gentle heart and soul. Todd was blessed to have found true love and happiness and share his life with wife, Terrie Fillio Store. Todd was the proud father of Jason (Kristen), Jeremy (Danielle) and Amber. Todd's love and support for his children and grandchildren were clear to all who knew him. He spent many hours with them, ensuring they knew he loved them. The grandchildren that will miss "Papa Todd" are: Layla, Lillian, Kar'Mell and a grandchild expected in January, 2013. Todd is also survived by a very special mother and father-in-law Peggy (Sam) Cirisan and father-in-law, Richard Fillio.
Todd was born to Robert and Donna (Ross) Store on July 8, 1959 in Ontonagon, MI. Surviving brothers and sisters of Todd are: Jimmy (Tracy) Store, Sherry (Bill) LaMere, Dean Store, Candy Store, Tammy (Gary) Pearcy and Nick (Coleen) Store. Todd is also survived by nieces and nephews: Christy (Neal) Smith, Mandy Store, John (Kate) Ruterbusch, Shawn (Ann) LaMere, Shannon LaMere, Maria and Lucas (special friend Nicole) Domitrovich, Olivia Downing, Katie and Brent Store and Jessica and Brandy Store along with several great-nieces and a great-nephew.
Todd was preceded in death by brothers David and Jay Store, grandparents Esther (Store) and Waino Kangas, and Marie and Albert Ross.
Todd graduated from Ontonagon Area High School in 1977. While in high school Todd worked on the family farm, for the US Forest Service and at Lukkari's Hardware Store in Mass City, MI. In 1978 Todd moved to the Detroit area and began a 34 year career with TruWall, where he was currently employed. Todd was a professional carpenter through the Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights, Local 1234, Detroit, MI. He took pride in every job he worked and was a trusted, dedicated employee. Todd had another family in his TruWall co-workers. He will especially be missed by Mike Pattison, Mike Torvinen and Dave Car, lifelong friends as well as co-workers.
Todd and his family along with brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews were all in Mass City celebrating the 60th anniversary of their parents when a blood clot to his heart took him from us. Our family had many days together to visit and enjoy each other. Todd's parents, family and friends have always had deep meaning to him. He was our "gentle heart" and there are no words to express the loss we feel now and will continue to feel. Todd was also a true "Yooper". He loved being outdoors, hunting and riding the gator. It fits his personality to express our goodbyes to him in the town of his birth, Ontonagon.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 16th with visitation at the Cane Funeral Home, Ontonagon, MI at 10:00 a.m. and the funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to: Wishes of the Family through the Cane Funeral Home, 310 N Steel Street, Ontonagon, MI, where after trust funds will be set up for "Papa Todd's" grandchildren. A "Celebration of Todd's Life" will be held in the Detroit area in July, 2012 for family, friends and co-workers that are not able to attend the service Saturday.
Todd took great pride in making sure his family was cared for. He was always available to help family, friends, co-workers or complete strangers. We will miss you, so very much, husband, father, grandfather, son, son-in-law, brother, uncle, great uncle, friend and co-worker.
