Tyne Alma Gustava Ruotanen Kekke July 20, 2008 after a long battle with cancer, Tyne Kekke age 86 passed away at Aspirus Long Term Care surrounded by her family.

On November 6, 1921 Tyne was born in Ontonagon, Michigan on the family farm, To William and Alma Ruotanen. Tyne married Theodore Kekke in Mass City on November 18,1939.

She worked as a babysitter, kitchen helper at the Ontonagon Hospital, and Syl's nursing home. She loved to read and watch her soaps on TV.

Tyne is survived by children, Gloria (Cliff) Guilbault, Dennis (Linda) Kekke, John Kekke, and Joan (Gary) White, and Special Niece Helen Toivonen, and many Grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all.

Tyne was preceded in death by her husband Theodore and daughter Judy Baker and her parents, 7 brothers and 3 sisters.

The funeral service is Wednesday July 23, 2008 at the Silo Lutheran Church, Ontonagon, Michigan. Visitation is at 1:00 PM and service at 2:00 PM with Pastor Penny Olson. Internment will be at the Riverside Cemetery, Ontonagon, Michigan.
